One of our valued clients, Classic Coach, has opened up a bus service to and from NYC from Ronkonkoma. The buses offer roomier seats than the LIRR, have power at each seat, and are WiFi enabled. The bus rates are variable based on demand, but are usually much cheaper than the LIRR. If you book in advance, there is significant savings. Just keep in mind there are no refunds.

Flexible Systems 2012 Pro Bono Project
"As part of their outreach efforts, SEA-LI sought to replace their previous stagnant website with one that was more intuitive, interactive, and user-friendly, and at the same time improve their Internet presence to assist the organization in getting the word out about their work.
