We can learn a lot from our passions that can help us be more effective in the businesses we run.  Jim Collins, the author of From Good to Great, was an avid rock climber.  In the attached article, he explores certain concepts from rock climbing and how they apply in the business world.   I have incorporated certain concepts into both my personal and business life (and my climbing life too). While it is a little long, it is definitely worth the read, find Jim Collins' article: Hitting the Wall: Realizing that Vertical Limits Aren't here.
